Your Business Cannot Keep Growing While Technology Keeps Holding Back Revenue, Productivity, and Your Team
The Proactive Technology Partnership is a fractional technology leadership and consulting service that helps growing organisations transform IT from a source of chaos into a strategic business asset that improves efficiency, supports revenue growth, strengthens your IT team, and frees your people to focus on the work that matters - without the cost of hiring a full-time CIO or CTO.

Every Technical Emergency Is Costing More Than the Time It Takes to Fix It
Your organisation has invested in technology, built an internal IT function, and added new systems as the business has grown.
Yet instead of making work easier, technology has become a constant source of disruption, frustration, and urgent problems.
Instead of helping your business grow, technology has become something your leadership team worries about every day - draining productivity, frustrating employees, delaying growth, and turning IT into a cost centre instead of a competitive advantage.
Your IT team is always reacting - fixing the latest issue instead of addressing what keeps causing it.
Leaders are pulled into technical decisions - spending time on problems they should not have to manage.
Employees lose time every day - because systems are unreliable, disconnected, or unnecessarily difficult to use.
New tools fail to solve the real problem - adding more complexity without creating a clear technology strategy.
Previous consultants have not created lasting change - leaving your team with recommendations but no practical path forward.
The longer this continues, the harder it becomes to grow with confidence. Technology remains a cost centre, your team stays trapped in firefighting, and every new initiative puts more pressure on an already strained environment.
Stop Managing Technology Problems and Start Using Technology to Move the Business Forward
The Proactive Technology Partnership gives your organisation experienced technology leadership without requiring another full-time executive hire.
Instead of delivering a generic report and disappearing, The Proactive Technology Partnership works alongside your leadership and IT teams to understand what exists, identify what is blocking progress, and help you get more value from the technology you've already invested in through smarter processes, automation, and strategic leadership.
The engagement helps you:
Move beyond constant firefighting - address the underlying technology and process problems that keep creating urgent issues.
Get more from your existing technology investment - improve processes, automation, and utilisation before investing in more technology.
Transform a reactive IT department into a high-performing team that prevents problems, improves the business, and creates long-term value, rather than constantly fighting fires.
Make technology decisions with greater confidence - understand what should change, what should stay, and where investment can support the business.
Reduce interruptions across the organisation - create technology that works as expected and allows employees to focus on their actual responsibilities.
Connect technology to business performance - use modern systems and more reliable information to support efficiency, revenue, and better forecasting.
Solve the problems others couldn't - bringing experienced executive leadership to the complex technology challenges that internal teams and previous consultants have been unable to resolve.

Get Senior Technology Leadership When You Need It - Without Adding Another Full-Time Executive
This is not a one-off audit followed by a long list of recommendations your team is left to implement alone.
The engagement begins with close involvement to understand your current technology environment, internal capabilities, business priorities, and immediate blocking issues.
Rather than replacing your IT team, this service provides the executive leadership, strategic direction, and accountability they need to perform at their best.
You work directly with an experienced fractional technology executive who becomes an extension of your leadership team - providing ongoing strategic guidance, executive-level decision support, and hands-on advice as your business evolves.
Focused Strategic Guidance
Monthly strategy sessions that connect technology decisions to the organisation’s wider goals.
Ongoing Executive Perspective
Experienced leadership that helps your organisation move from reactive problem-solving towards proactive improvement.
Tactical Support When Issues Block Progress
Additional meetings to advise your team on urgent decisions, challenges, and implementation priorities.
Practical Direction For Your Internal Team
Clear priorities and guidance that help your people execute rather than remain stuck debating the next step.
The level of involvement can reflect what your organisation needs, with greater engagement at the beginning and ongoing strategic and tactical support as the work progresses.
Your Technology Should Become Easier to Trust, Easier to Manage, and More Valuable to the Business
The objective is not to add more tools for the sake of appearing modern.
It is to build a technology environment that works reliably, supports your people, and contributes to the organisation’s performance.
Through the engagement, your organisation can work towards:
Technology that employees can depend on - fewer interruptions, fewer recurring frustrations, and less time lost to avoidable problems.
A more proactive IT operation - stronger processes, clearer priorities, and a team that can focus on improvement instead of constant damage control.
Better use of technology investment - greater value from the systems, tools, and resources you already pay for.
Make technology decisions with greater confidence - understand what should change, what should stay, and where investment can support the business.
More efficient business operations - improved processes and automation that make work easier across the organisation.
Greater confidence in business information - more reliable systems and data that help leadership understand performance and project revenue.
Technology that shifts from being a cost centre to a strategic business asset - supporting revenue growth, reducing unnecessary costs, improving forecasting, and making work easier across the organisation.
The goal is simple: technology just works - so your people can focus on growing the business, not fighting the systems that support it.

For Organisations Ready to Turn Reactive IT Into a Strategic Advantage
This Is for You If:
Your IT team is trapped in firefighting - reacting to problems instead of improving how technology supports the business.
Technology decisions lack clear direction - with no senior leader connecting IT priorities to wider business goals.
You need experienced technology leadership - but cannot justify another full-time executive hire.
You lead a growing SMB, start-up, or mission-driven organisation - and need technology that can keep pace with your ambitions.
Previous consultants failed to create lasting change - leaving recommendations without enough support to implement them.
Your systems are struggling to keep pace - creating more disruption as the organisation grows.
You want technology to deliver more value - through greater efficiency, stronger processes, and better business performance.
This Is NOT for You If:
You only want a quick technical fix - without addressing the deeper causes of recurring problems.
You need an outsourced help desk - rather than strategic technology leadership.
You are only looking for a report - with no intention of making practical changes.
You are not ready to challenge what is not working - or improve how technology supports the organisation.
The Proactive Technology Partnership is for leaders ready to move beyond reactive IT and build reliable, proactive technology that supports growth.
Every Delay Makes Technology Problems More Expensive
Technology problems rarely stay contained within IT. They spread across the organisation and create wider operational pressure.
Employees lose time - when systems are unreliable or difficult to use.
Teams become less efficient - when poor processes and unreliable systems interrupt everyday work.
Leadership loses confidence - when data is unclear, and technology decisions feel risky.
Costs continue to rise - without the operational or financial value the investment should create.
Waiting for the next failure, migration, or stalled project only forces important decisions under pressure.
Clear technology leadership helps your organisation stop reacting and start improving with purpose.

The Misconceptions Keeping Your Organisation Stuck in Reactive IT
Before bringing in fractional technology leadership, it is natural to question whether the model can create meaningful change. But the right engagement is designed to provide both strategic direction and practical support.
Myth #1: “A Fractional Executive Will Not Understand Our Organisation.”
Truth: The engagement begins with close involvement to understand your technology environment, business priorities, internal team, and existing constraints before recommendations are made.
Myth #2: “This Will Be Another Consultant Who Leaves Us With a Report.”
Truth: This is not advice delivered from a distance. Strategic leadership is combined with tactical guidance to help your team work through the issues blocking progress.
Myth #3: “We Need a Full-Time Executive to Make a Real Difference.”
Truth: Fractional leadership gives you access to senior technology expertise without the cost of another permanent executive hire.
Myth #4: "Our IT team is the problem."
Truth: In most cases, good people are working within poor systems, unclear priorities, and reactive processes. With the right leadership, teams often become one of the organisation's greatest strengths.
Waiting without the right leadership also carries a cost. Recurring disruptions, inefficient processes, stalled projects, and underused technology continue to drain time and money while the organisation remains reactive.
32 Years of Technology Experience Applied to the Problems Your Organisation Faces Today
I’m Jeremy Trimm, and I bring 32 years of experience in IT, including leadership roles across healthcare and finance. That experience gives me the perspective to quickly identify what's holding organisations back and create practical technology strategies that deliver lasting business value.
Throughout my career, I have worked with organisations across academia, healthcare, finance, technology, government, and public school systems. Outside of my technology work, I am heavily involved in animal rescue and serve on the Board of Directors for the last legal ferret rescue in California. Together, these experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping organisations use technology to move forward and create a meaningful impact.
I am often brought in when teams have nowhere else to turn, and technical problems have become too complex, disruptive, or important to leave unresolved.
Many organisations call me when they feel they've run out of options - when previous consultants haven't delivered, projects have stalled, or technology has become too chaotic to manage. That's where I do my best work.

Experience Built Through Complex Technology Change:
IT leadership across healthcare and finance - guiding technology in complex operating environments.
IT team transformation - helping dysfunctional teams become stronger, higher-performing functions.
EMR conversions and migrations - leading major changes to essential healthcare systems.
Loan origination system cloud migrations - moving critical financial technology into modern cloud environments.
Paperless EMR conversions - helping organisations move away from inefficient manual processes.
Network rebuilds and cloud migrations - modernising infrastructure while supporting continued operations.
AI implementation - recently implementing an AI solution to help reduce carrier denials on high-value claims.
My mission is to help organisations use technology to make people’s lives easier, reduce frustration, improve efficiency, and create greater value across the business.

Your Next Step Towards Technology That Supports Growth
OPTION 1: Continue responding to one technical emergency after another while your IT team remains overwhelmed, employees remain frustrated, and technology continues to be treated as an unavoidable cost.
OPTION 2: Transform your technology from a constant source of frustration into a reliable business asset that supports growth, empowers your people, and gives leadership confidence in every technology decision.
You do not need to make another permanent senior hire before your organisation can benefit from executive-level technology guidance.
The first step is a focused conversation about what currently exists, where the biggest problems are appearing, and what may be possible with the right strategy and support.
